Large, quiet with everything I required plus the complementary 2 water bottles. As a Hilton Honours member, I was allocated an excellent room. Arrived at the Hotel by public bus.cheap/clean/efficient and bus stop was right outside the hotel! The check-in was courteous/effortless & welcoming. This was my second visit to the city in 40 years. Travelled from Sydney, Australia to attend a conference/convention not knowing much about the Hilton or the surrounding area. There's also a free bus that runs around the area and will get you to restaurants, as well, so it's nice not to need a car. The COTA bus from the airport will drop you off almost in front of the hotel and costs only $2.75 (runs every half hour) can't beat that. High Street and Front Street one block over have plenty of restaurant/bar options, or there's the Short North area not far away. Public areas are nice, elevators handle the traffic well, staff was efficient, competent, and welcoming. And it's as close to the Convention Center as you could get, connected across the street by a 2nd-floor skyway (the Hampton on the north and the Hyatt on the south are the other two very close options to consider if proximity is important). Price wasn't bad for a downtown convention hotel. There was a fridge in the room, which was a nice "extra" I wasn't expecting. the room wasn't huge, but it was efficiently designed, contemporary, and new (must've renovated recently?).
